Books for a Buck Preview (1)

Ghost Hand by Ripley Patton

Regularly: $2.99     a     Hop Beings in 17 days

About the Book:
Olivia Black just discovered that her ghost hand, a rare birth defect, can do more than light up a room. It can reach into people and pull things out. Things from the darkest depths of the human psyche never meant to exist in the world.

Olivia can pickpocket the soul.

But she can't control her ability, or the strange items it extracts, and the only thing between Olivia and the men bent on taking the power of her hand is a boy she barely knows and doesn't trust.

About the Author:
Ripley Patton recently returned from a five-year adventure in New Zealand and now lives in Portland, Oregon with two teenagers, a cat, and a man who wants to live on a boat.

She won a 2009 Sir Julius Vogel Award for her writing, the same award Pter Jackson won for Lord of the Rings, but Ripley's is newer.

Ripley's first novel, a YA paranormal thriller titled Ghost Hand, was released in November 2012, and is the first of a three book series.
